Our Mission
Flywheel Financial exists to help business owners create healthy businesses that in turn, create healthy families that change communities.
Our Values & Standards
-
01 — We protect daily rhythms — devotional time, fitness, sleep, family, and work — because showing up as our best selves is the best thing we can do for others.
02 — We start every workday by setting our "One Thing": the single task that, if completed, will make the greatest impact on that day.
03 — We structure our day through time blocking, so our focus goes towards the right things at the right times while eliminating distractions.
04 — We set up technology to protect boundaries, so work time is work time, and family time is family time.
-
05 — We respond to every client message within one business day — even if the response is "I've received this and will have an answer by [date]."
06 — We over-communicate. If a client or team member might be wondering where we are on something, we've already sent the update.
07 — We communicate with clarity. Every email, message, and report is created with the client in mind — clarity is kindness.
08 — We use correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation in every client-facing message. A misplaced comma or misspelled name signals carelessness with their financials too.
09 — We lead with kindness and professionalism in every interaction. Our tone is warm, calm, and respectful — even when the topic is hard, the client is frustrated, or the deadline is tight.
10 — We use clients' names. We remember their goals, their businesses, their stress points. We look for opportunities to bless and surprise them — a gift card to a restaurant they mentioned on a call, a care package for a team member going through a hard season.
11 — We assume positive intent. When a client or teammate is short, frustrated, or unclear, we lead with curiosity, not defensiveness.
12 — We own our mistakes. When we get it wrong — a missed deadline, an error in a report, a dropped ball — we name it first, fix it fast, and learn from it. No deflecting, no minimizing, no blaming the system or another teammate.
13 — We don't just deliver answers — we deliver understanding. When we share a number, a recommendation, or an update, we explain the reasoning behind it so clients can make informed decisions with confidence.
-
14 — We set deadlines and we hit them. Client financials are delivered on or before the 15th of every month. This is not a target — it is a commitment. If delivery is at risk, the client is notified before the deadline.
15 — We arrive to every meeting on time and prepared. Agenda reviewed, files open, ready to engage from the first minute. We believe the best meetings happen when everyone is fully present — so we set other projects aside and give our teammates our full attention.
16 — We document what we commit to for visibility and accountability. Action items live in writing — in the meeting notes, in Asana or Double, in the follow-up email — not just in our heads.
17 — We close the loop. Every client question, request, or open item gets a final "This has been completed" — we don't leave clients or team members wondering.
-
18 — We are students of our craft. Every team member is actively learning — through reading, listening, and hands-on practice — because the best thing we can offer our clients is a team that keeps growing.
19 — We offload low-level, repeatable work to AI and PSI so we can spend the majority of our time creating the highest impact.
20 — We keep the "why" at the center. Every report, every meeting, every recommendation connects back to what the client is trying to build — and we reference their Profit Form answers to help guide us there.
21 — We leave every task, process, and client relationship better than we found it. We don't just complete work — we improve it. If we've created confusion instead of clarity, there's still work to do.
22 — We are a team of systems and processes. When a task has been done more than twice the same way, we invest the time to make it a template, a workflow, or a repeatable process that operates without us.
